North America’s premier festival of German-language films, organized by the Goethe-Institut San Francisco, comes to Honolulu in a pared-down eight-film version. All films are Hawai‘i premieres, and include the San Francisco program’s three Audience Award winners. Art fans won’t want to miss the moving documentary on the influential artist Eva Hesse.
Presented by the Goethe-Institut San Francisco. In collaboration with the Honorary Consuls of the Federal Republic of Germany and Switzerland in Honolulu under the auspices of their respective Consulates General in San Francisco.
